Idea Journal #10 Visual Merchandising

Where: dezeen.com Internet
When: It was posted in 2007, I found it in March 2010
Idea: I really like the props in the background. I think it is so pretty and eye-catching. It is not over done, and they placed the mannequins in a way so that the background doesn't take away from the clothes. I would definitely use to abstract art idea!

Woo Abstract Art!

I'm taking a Visual Merchandising and Display course this semester and we learned how to cut foam-board. It seems easy... but it actually is not that easy. Amanda even cut her finger open, it was pretty nasty. Anyways, I didn't want to waste the board we used so I bought some paint, then painted the pieces I cut, then glued them together, and the pictures above are the result! I love making things now! It's fun and you can create original and unique things :]
